The 2023 Prague Shootings and Charles University Massacre

Police concluded that the gunman who killed 14 people at Charles University's Faculty of Arts on December 21, 2023 had also killed his father that day and a father and two-month-old daughter in Klánovice Forest six days earlier. The perpetrator died by suicide, so the criminal case ended without a trial; later scrutiny of the police response remained institutionally separate.
